Hooray for Bees

A bit about bees
Image result for drone beesBees live in a hive. They are a large group called colonies. The bees eat, make honey, store extra food and look after the young bees.
There are three types of bees in a colony: Queen bee, Drones and Worker bees. These three types of bees have different jobs.

Queen Bee
A Queen Bee is a female. She is the only one to lay eggs. She is the mother to all the bees in the colony. SHE IS THE LEADER.

  1. Hi David

Bee's are amazing creatures! I really like how you've explained the different bees that make up the hive and what jobs they do. It looks like you have done quite a bit of research. Do you like any particular types of honey? That could be an interesting addition to your research, to describe the many varieties that are available. Keep up the good word David!
