We put bait in the hinaki and face it downstream in the river. The eels will smell the bait and swim through the small hole to the hinaki.. They can't get out

Well done David. I like the way you retold the story. It was a bit tricky to make your writing easy to read, so I typed it again at the top of the post. Maybe you can make this easier to read next time. I'm looking forward to your next lot of work
